Jurong Bird Park, Singapore



Jurong Bird Park is famous attraction in Singapore managed by the Wildlife Reserves Singapore. It is a landscaped park, spread over a total area of 202,000 square metres (50 acres).  The park comprises world’s largest walk-in aviaries, the tallest man-made waterfall and a great variety of birds from Africa and South America kept here under their suitable habitat. The bird park also offers scope for educational events and entertaining bird shows that are carried out throughout the day. The Bird Park comprises more than 5,000 birds of 380 species, out of which 29 are endangered ones. Some of the species found here are Bali mynah, Barbet, Black Hornbill, Crowned crane, Carmine Bee-eater, Cassowary, Cockatoo, Crowned pigeon, Owls, Pelicans, Ducks, Flamingoes, Penguins, Swans, and Storks.

In addition to its diverse bird life, Jurong Park also offers great scope for shopping, dining and entertainment.
